SIZED Founder Alexander May has teamed up with Paris-based atelier Pierre Augustin Rose to create an immersive showroom installation during Art Basel Paris. This collaboration merges May's artistic sensibilities with Pierre Augustin Rose’s iconic upholstery collection, transforming the brand’s Paris showroom into a unique, gallery-like space.

Marking May's return to painting after a five-year hiatus, the installation features hand-painted canvases adorning the atelier’s furniture, with each piece offering a fresh interpretation of classic design. Produced by SIZED and crafted at our Los Angeles headquarters, the installation extends throughout the showroom, enveloped by floor-to-ceiling high-gloss vinyl curtains that establish a cohesive, immersive atmosphere.

On display from October 16th to 27th, the installation also includes curated works from notable galleries and artists, including Galerie Peter Kilchmann, Galerie Chenel, Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art, Paul Sepuya, Manolo Valdés, Victor Guedy, Jonathan Binet, and Graham Hamilton.
