On June 1st and August 24th, SIZED hosted two exciting culinary pop-ups featuring Tacos Dubai, the roaming taqueria concept by chef Gerardo Gonzales. Held at the SIZED offices in partnership with Yola Mezcal, the events combined vibrant food, music, and community. The June event featured DJ BEBE, along with fresh handmade yeasted flour tortillas and striking “goth” tortillas made from cónico morado by Maricela Vega.
For the August pop-up, guest chef Devonn Francis crafted a dynamic menu that included spiced carrots, prawn and green tomato aguachile, melon salad, jerk chicken, and more. Both events offered a fusion of culinary creativity and SIZED’s signature cultural energy, creating a unique atmosphere that celebrated food and collaboration.
