YOLA MEZCAL

SIZED provided comprehensive creative consultation to Yola Mezcal for the inaugural Yola Día Music Festival, a first-of-its-kind event that celebrated an all-women lineup of musicians and artists. Held at Los Angeles Historic Park, this one-day festival merged content and experiential work, offering a multifaceted experience across art, music, and social impact, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Downtown Women’s Center.

SIZED shaped both the festival’s content and experiential elements, curating a large-scale exhibition that featured over 100 works from prominent female artists including Susan Cianciolo, Zoe Latta, Laurie Simmons, Kiki Smith, Martine Syms, and Kandis Williams. The festival also spotlighted high-profile music acts such as Lykke Li, Cat Power, Sophie, Courtney Love, Kelsey Lu, and Megan Thee Stallion. The integration of art and music created a dynamic cultural moment that resonated with a broad audience.

In addition to the artistic programming, SIZED worked on experiential elements, such as collaborating with Los Angeles’ top food and wine vendors, and ensuring a seamless, engaging festival experience. The event became a landmark in merging cultural content with immersive experiences, reinforcing Yola Mezcal’s connection to art, music, and social causes.
